The
VerifierTM is used to determine if a liquid sample can be used to
make an explosive, specifically 1) if the liquid is flammable, and, 2)
if the liquid is a strong oxidizer.
To test a liquid sample, simply apply 2 to 6 droplets of the suspicious
material to the CENTER of the test strip. If the sample contains
flammable materials, such as acetone, a strong, red color will appear in 5 to
20 seconds. If the sample contains strong oxidizers, such as hydrogen peroxide
or hypochlorite, a dark brown or black color will appear in 5 to 20 seconds.
A box of 10 VerifierTM tabs weighs less than 4 ounces (110 grams),
making it ideal for rapid deployment. This is especially important in
situations where a professional laboratory or expensive equipment is not
available, or when immediate results (5 to 20 seconds) are required.
Full color instructions are provided with each set, ensuring that the tests
are performed properly.
