In the event of a toxic spill efforts should be made, in order of priority, to: remove exposed personnel to a clean area; reduce exposure of new personnel to the toxin; reduce the spread of toxic material to uncontaminated areas; prevent poisons from seeping into the ground, underground water, or waterways; immobilize the toxic materials to prevent additional spread and to facilitate their collection.

Fix-It^TM - CA may allow for the prevention of the spread of Group 1 poisons (cyanides, azides, sulfides, and chromates) to uncontaminated areas including the ground, underground water, and waterways. It also may assist in the safe collection of these heavy metals by preventing the release of deadly airborne toxins which can cause harm to those attempting to decontaminate an area.
