Quickly and Effectively Check for Liquid Explosives using Verifier^TM

The Verifier^TM is used to detect liquids used in explosives such as acetone, flammable hydrocarbons and hydrogen peroxide. The sample size required is 2 to 12 droplets of liquid. Color change will be detected if any of these dangerous liquids are present. Detection of 0.25 % peroxide occurs instantly, and is shown by a black color formation next to the black reference end of the strip. Flammable hydrocarbons which can readily mix with peroxide to form explosives form a red colored area on the strip next to the appropriate red reference. Concentrations as low as 3% acetone, nitromethane, iso-propyl alcohol, methanol, and ethanol can be detected.

The individual strip is of small dimension, and easily portable. This product can be easily used at checkpoints for fast verification of liquids. Suspicious liquids can be quickly and accurately checked for dangerous hydrocarbons and peroxides in thirty seconds. It requires little personnel training, making it practical for large airports and land-based checkpoints.

This product is limited to liquid solutions. Viscous preparations should be tested with Gel-Ox^TM, or diluted with water to reduce viscosity.
