Preparing Your Sample
Use a clean, securely sealed container and provide enough material for testing while minimizing the risk of leakage during shipment.
Liquids & Beverages
- Send approximately 2–3 ounces.
- Use a tightly sealed, leak-resistant container.
- A clean travel-size shampoo bottle or similar screw-cap container works well.
- Secure the cap tightly.
- Place the container inside a zip-lock bag for additional protection against leakage.
Foods, Powders & Solids
- Send approximately 1/2 cup of the sample when practical.
- Place the sample in a sealed zip-lock bag or other clean, leak-resistant container.
- Keep different samples in separate containers unless they are intended to be tested together.
- Clearly identify the sample if its contents may not be obvious.
Include Your Contact Information
Include at minimum:
- Your name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Order number or order confirmation, if available
This allows ChemSee to identify the sender, match the sample to the correct order and contact you if clarification is needed.
If You Ordered an Individual Test
Clearly identify the chemical or adulterant you want tested.
You may enter the requested chemical in your checkout notes or include a written note with the sample.
