ReactaStick™ detectors provide a visible chemical response in compatible prepared food, beverage and liquid samples. Choose the chemical you want to investigate, then select 5, 10, 15, 30 or 100 tests per pack.
Each selection is one separately sold detector type. Add your selected chemical and pack size to the cart, then return to add another. Quantity means number of packs.

Formaldehyde
CS-DIP-FRM
Used in resins, adhesives and specimen preservation. Exposure can irritate eyes and airways; swallowing formaldehyde solutions can cause serious injury.
Chlorine
CS-DIP-CHL
Chlorine compounds are used for disinfection and bleaching. Concentrated chlorine-based solutions can irritate or burn the eyes, skin and other tissues.
Hydrogen peroxide
CS-DIP-PER
An oxidizer used for disinfection and bleaching. Swallowing hydrogen peroxide can irritate the digestive tract; concentrated solutions can cause tissue burns.
Borax
CS-DIP-BOR
A sodium borate salt used in cleaning products and ceramic glazes. Swallowing borax can cause nausea and vomiting; exposure can also cause irritation.
Nitrate*
CS-DIP-NO3
Found naturally in food and water and used in fertilizers and food preservation. Excess intake can affect the blood’s ability to carry oxygen.
Nitrite
CS-DIP-NO2
Used in food preservation, including cured meats. Excess nitrite can reduce the blood’s ability to carry oxygen.
Sulfide
CS-DIP-SFD
Sulfide compounds are used in leather processing and pulp and paper production. Some sulfide salts are corrosive and can release toxic hydrogen sulfide gas.
From sample to visible response
Prepare
Prepare a compatible liquid sample using the included guidance.
Dip
Dip the sensing area for 5 seconds.
Compare
Compare the developed response at 3 minutes.
Six detectors support semi-quantitative color comparison. Hydrogen peroxide gives a None/Positive response.
* The nitrate detector also detects nitrite.
