The real gap is architecture. A supplementary gas-category observation, a presumptive surface-residue screen and a reviewed process-sample card cannot share one procedure or one set of limitations.

Use explosive products only on safe, authorized surfaces or samples after the possible-device and EOD threat has been addressed.
Specialist Chemical Review
Route named-agent or specialist detector requirements through technical qualification; coverage and availability are confirmed for the quoted configuration.

Plan, Select, Deploy, Document and Escalate
- Define the problem. Define the chemical hazard hypothesis, incident phase and decision authority.
- Select the screening layer. Select only a current product whose target coverage and conditions match the intended role.
- Prepare deployment. Integrate the product with incident command, PPE, exclusion zones, sampling and follow-up instruments.
- Document use. Record deployment location, time, conditions, lot/expiry and prescribed response.
- Escalate and confirm. Treat positive, uncertain or threat-supported observations as inputs to the established responder and confirmatory process.
